Job Requirements:
Great opportunity to advance the companies expertise in BIM. You will be challenged to use your Revit MEP and AutoCAD skills for the 3D drafting of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, power distribution system, generators, CCTV, fire alarm, medium voltage, roadway, and interior lighting. You will work in a fast-paced environment on various and multiple facility types including office, retail, entertainment, aviation, hospitality, education, water/wastewater, etc.

Skills

Qualifications:

Sr. Electrical Engineer - Substation Engineer The Substation Electrical Engineer will create designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including power, process, corporate, healthcare, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government and military facilities.
Substation: Design of high voltage (13,000 to 500,000 volt) electrical substations. Areas of design include substation layout, power system analysis and control/ relay systems for a variety of clients across the country.
Provide electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects including, but not limited to: power plants, process facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and governmental and military facilities. Design electrical components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the client. Applies basic knowledge of commonly used electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry. Assists with research and complies project related data as required by the project managers. Correct and update drawings provided by team to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD related software. Conduct Client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration for the design of power, process, industrial, healthcare, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and governmental and military facilities. Perform field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 10+ Years Experience Professional Engineering License or ambitious to obtain within 2 years. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. Or Bachelor of Science in Electrical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Master of Science degree in Engineering may be substituted for one year of experience. Basic knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills. Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) Basic computer skills include AutoCAD, MicroStation, 2D and 3D rendering programs and other analysis programs. Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem solving skills. Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
