BIM Coordinators / CADD Techs

Location: St. Louis, Columbia, and Kansas City Offices

Job Requirements:

Great opportunity to advance the companies expertise in BIM. You will be challenged to use your Revit MEP and AutoCAD skills for the 3D drafting of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, power distribution system, generators, CCTV, fire alarm, medium voltage, roadway, and interior lighting. You will work in a fast-paced environment on various and multiple facility types including office, retail, entertainment, aviation, hospitality, education, water/wastewater, etc.
You will create an impact on company policy and quality while improving our technical competencies.

Skills

Proficient in using software programs such as Revit MEP, BIM360, AutoCAD, Excel, and Word. Mechanical and Electrical facility familiarization a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Stable work history preferred.
  • Proficient in BIM Modeling, AutoCAD, Revit MEP.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrate drafting skills using Autodesk MEP Revit.
  • Demonstrate drafting skills using AutoCAD/Revit (2016 or newer).
  • Experience in working in team environment.
  • The ability understand deadlines and manage time effectively.

Electrical Engineer / Designer / Project Manager

Locations: St. Louis, Columbia, & Kansas City

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Required)
  • Experience (5 Yrs+) in Design of Electrical Systems for Commercial Construction
  • Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
  • Project Management Experience a Plus, Especially Managing Multiple Projects at Once
  • Knowledge of NEC, IBC, & Other Building Codes, as well as LEED/Sustainability Design Requirements

Primary Job Duties:

  • Manage Multiple Projects as Project Manager; Small MEP Projects May Have Only 1 Project Manager
  • Attend Project Meetings with the Client
  • Coordinate Design Requirements with Internal MEP Staff as well as Other Project Team Members
  • Coordinate Utility Company Service Requirements
  • Perform Code Research as Applicable to Each Project
  • Coordinate/Manage Resources within the Office to Complete Project Tasks on Schedule & within Budget
  • Prepare Project Budgets, Write Progress Reports, & Perform Invoice Review
  • Perform Quality Control & Peer Reviews of Project Designs by Others in the Office
     

Secondary Job Duties:

  • Create a 1-Line Diagram, Estimated Electrical Service Size & Load Calculations, & Design Narrative for the Schematic Design Phase of Projects
  • Write & Edit Project Construction Specifications
  • Perform NEC Demand/Load Calculations, Short Circuit Calculations, & Voltage Drop Calculations
  • Perform Power, Lighting, & Lighting Controls Design Tasks as Needed
  • Review O&M Manuals, Shop Drawings, Equipment Submittals, Perform Project Site Observations & Punch Lists
     

Desired Qualifications:

  • AutoCAD or Revit Drafting Experience
  • Specific Experience in Healthcare Electrical Design
  • PE License Desired & Would Be Expected at a Later Date
  • Experience with MasterSpec CSI Format
  • SKM & AGI Software Knowledge Desired
  • Passed FE Exam
  • LEED AP BD+C

Mechanical HVAC Engineer / Designer / Project Manager

Job Description

This individual will provide project management and mechanical (HVAC) design services on a variety of building projects. Specific position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project & Team Management as well as Technical Design on Assigned Projects
  • Assist in the Production of Construction Documents (Drawings & Specifications) for New Buildings, & for Renovations & Additions to Existing Facilities
  • Create & Maintain Project Schedules
  • Provide Coordination of Project Designs with Other Disciplines
  • Maintain Positive Client Relationships

Position Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in architectural or mechanical engineering or professional registration and at least 5 or more years of related MEP experience, including some project management experience. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate success in the following skills and abilities:

  • Knowledge of Building Mechanical Codes & the Ability to Perform Accurate Load Calculations
  • Strong mechanical/HVAC Design Capability in Retail, Commercial, Central Plants, Boilers, Cooling Towers, & Related Markets
  • Knowledge of Sustainable Design Practices
  • Successful Verbal & Written Communication Skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and learning Revit MEP engineering modeling tools

Building Testing & Commissioning Technician

Location: Columbia

Job Description:

  • Perform Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning, Monitoring-Based Commissioning, Energy Efficiency Retrofit, & Testing/Balancing of Systems in Commercial Buildings
  • Monitor HVAC Systems with Building Automation Systems & Stand-Alone Data Loggers to Troubleshoot Operational Problems or to Find Inefficient Control Sequences
  • Perform on-Site Testing of HVAC, Lighting, Power, & Control Systems in New & Existing Buildings in Conjunction with O&M & Contractor Personnel
  • Responsible for Performing Assessments, Detailed Evaluations & Measurement & Verification Reports & Retro-Commissioning Plans for Existing Facilities
  • Provide Technical Support to Customers Through the Implementation Process
  • Review Operating Modes, Sequence of Operations & Specifics of Equipment, Operations, & Maintenance
  • Cultivate Effective Relationships with Existing & Potential Key Clients, Customers, & Contractors to Develop Business

Qualifications:

  • Over 4 Years of Direct or Related Experience with Complex HVAC, Lighting, Power, & Control Systems, Including an Ability to Evaluate & Troubleshoot, & Perform Measurements on Same
  • Comfortable with and Able to Perform Work on Equipment Accessed by Ladder on Building Roofs, Underground, & in Cramped Spaces
    Proficient Computer Skills (E.G. Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Certification in the Commissioning Process Is a Plus, However, We Are Willing to Train
  • Knowledge of Site Safety Procedures, Including Electrical Safety
